SIIP wishes to advise interested building services/civil works contractors of the following dates and events regarding the upcoming call for tenders for the construction and fit out of the new Naha Birthing and Urban Health Centre, Honiara:
- 31 March - Release of tender documents on SIIP website
- 5 April (0900) - 1st pre-bid meeting, Heritage Park Hotel (HPH)
- 27 April (0830) - SIIP industry briefing on Local Content, HPH
- 27 April (1400) - Naha BUHC site visit
- 28 April (0830) - 2nd pre-bid meeting, HPH
- 26 May - Tender closing date
Local Company Register
SIIP’s Local Company Register (see below) will be included in tender documents to help connect potential international partners for the delivery of the above works. Local companies are encouraged to register their business free of charge on the SIIP website by Wednesday, 29 March 2023.

SIIP is calling for local qualified consultancy firms to prepare a detailed design for the Honiara Central Market Extension.
Applications are open to all eligible firms as defined in the tender document, which is available free of charge from the SIIP website.

Local Company Register
The Solomon Islands Infrastructure Program (SIIP) is establishing a register of local Solomon Islands building, engineering and supply contractors and consultants willing to partner with eligible regional companies to deliver Solomon Islands infrastructure priorities.
Registration is free. The register aims to increase local content opportunities for local business. SIIP will use the register to connect local and regional companies during calls for tenders - connecting local expertise and creating infrastructure partnerships.
Companies can register at anytime, to be included in upcoming opportunities.
