If you have a concern about the environmental impact of a SIIP-supported project, or the behaviour of a SIIP team member - we want to know.
The Solomon Islands Infrastructure Program prioritises the safety of the community and environment our projects work in. We are committed to a complaints process that is easy to use and culturally appropriate. We will make sure all complaints are handled promptly, transparently and without retribution or cost to the person making the complaint.
HOW THE PROCESS WORKS
- Lodge a complaint Email: grm@siip.com.sb or call +677 42970 (SIIP Office)
- SIIP Safeguards Coordinator registers complaint and contacts you (within 24 hours) Note: Any child protection and/or sexual assault/harassment issues will be dealt with by DT Global Australia, and not the local SIIP coordinator.
- Complaint reviewed and investigated by SIIP Program Manager (2-5 working days)
- Proposed resolution (3 working days) Affected person contacted with proposed solution
- Escalation (5 working days) Note: if affected person does not accept solution, matter is brought to SIIP’s Steering Committee.
If the above process is unsatisfactory or for privacy reasons, you can make a complaint to DT Global’s third party whistle-blower agency at:
