Building Together 2019-24 offers a retrospective snapshot of the past five years of infrastructure partnership between Solomon Islands and Australia. The report highlights over 500 infrastructure projects - large and small - reaching every province across the country.
Aligned with the Solomon Islands Government’s priorities of economic, social, productive and security infrastructure, the report demonstrates Australia’s commitment to supporting impactful development, and providing the building blocks to advance the nation, and help men, women and children improve their daily lives.
Solomon Islanders are no longer bystanders in the development of the nation’s infrastructure. The report also outlines Australia’s unique approach to maximising local employment opportunities during infrastructure delivery. It showcases efforts to build the capacity of government and the private sector to better plan deliver and maintain assets, while promoting greater inclusion of women, youth and people with disabilities in the sector.

The report includes an annex of all infrastructure projects by sector and by province.
