Tenders
On behalf of the governments of Australia and Solomon Islands, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and eligible contractors, or joint bidders, with relevant experience constructing fast-track projects in Pacific Island countries or other remote environments.
The Project will deliver an enduring, nationally significant official residence, reflecting Solomon Islands’ sovereignty, cultural identity and resilience, and which supports effective governance and diplomatic engagement.
The Construction Contractor will be engaged under a FIDIC construct only contract which will include all site preparation, construction, commissioning and handover, together with a potential maintenance period following completion.
The request for EOI constitutes stage 1 of a 2-stage competitive procurement
process. Shortlisted respondents will be invited to submit a tender in stage 2.

Local Company Database
SIIP maintains a database of Solomon Islands and regional building, engineering and supply contractors and consultants who are willing to partner with each other to deliver Solomon Islands infrastructure priorities.
The database aims to increase local content opportunities for Solomon Islands businesses. SIIP will use the database to connect local and regional companies during calls for tenders - connecting local expertise and creating infrastructure partnerships.
